That’s a big heist
Hot off the presses from Cointelegraph we find that Coincheck, one of Japans largest exchanges, was hacked and repotedly lost up to $723 million in crypto. Poof. Just like that, off their wallets.
This is huge people, and further reason why you should protect your crypto on your own wallets, where you control the private key. Word is there was an unauthorized withdrawal of 101 million XRP worth $123m. And another $600 million of NEM was removed from the exchange. This is crazier than Goldfingers attempt to rob Fort Knox. And that had planes flown by gorgeous women spreading sleeping gas called Pussy Galore’s Flying Circus.
This statement says it all:
“the biggest theft in the history of the world.”
