It is a DApp, which means it is decentralised and a distributed system of service is run and hosted by numerous networks around the globe. It is based on Ethereum blockchain, utilising the ERC-20 token system as the utility token, CUR8. The system rewards digital tokens in the form of BTC, ETH and their CUR8 tokens in return for users curating fashion styles.

How Curate works is the Content user, i.e. brands or fashion icons, upload the latest fashion content to Curate. The ‘Curator’ community engages and upvotes the fashion content available. The content that gains popularity allows the ‘Discoverer’ community to decipher it. What Curate does is that it rewards the original content users, curators as well as discoverers with BTC, ETH and CUR8 tokens which can be used to redeem discount codes, promo offers and more on the website.
