Cere Network, a Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform, has joined the list of blockchain projects to quickly announce action steps for the new year. The network announced the launch of its latest initiative, “Cere Freeport,” which is an NFT-based solution package built for secure NFT asset management, custody, and delivery.
The project was developed on Cere’s DDC and in partnership with Polygon. Cere’s Freeport is a unique offering as the first real decentralized NFT management platform that enables project developers and creators to collect and give NFT-backed data assets alongside the NFT to the buyers in a trustless way through its tools and smart contracts.
Via smart contracts, Cere’s Freeport will easily integrate with Ethereum and other blockchains compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, such as BSC, Polkadot’s Kusama, and Polygon.
Reacting to the new development, Sandeep Nailwal, Polygon Co-founder and COO, referred to Freeport as a “gamechanger.” He said, “One of the main problems for NFT security is that the underlying data is stored on centralized file servers. Cere Freeport is a game-changer in that it’s stored in a truly decentralized data cloud, meaning storage and ownership of NFTs is not reliant on centralized ISPs (Internet Service Providers) or IPFS (InterPlanetary File System). Cere Freeport is the solution for this acute need of the entire blockchain ecosystem.”
According to Fred Jin, Co-founder of Cere Network, the new launch would ensure privacy and data security. He said, “By launching the first viable decentralized data platform for everything NFTs, we are ensuring the future of individual, privacy-preserving data ownership. Cere Freeport is reducing the barriers of entry for everyone in creating, securing, and delivering NFT-powered products and experiences. Freeport ensures that you will have no worries or complications with securing your NFTs and will easily be able to access and share your assets for generations to come.”
Opportunities on Freeport
NFT creators and artists have a huge earning opportunity in Freeport. For example, the platforms allow them to mint and manage their NFTs and assets via accessible smart contracts and a developer’s software called Software Development Kit.
Projects like Bit.Country, Chainguardians, QORPO, Blockchain cuties, Dreams Quest, and Amberfi are listed as some of the first to use Freeport. A dozen other metaverse and gaming projects are also outlined to use the platform.
In partnership with Bit.Country and Cere NFT will enable users to access the multi-metaverse on Bit.Country to flaunt the effectiveness of Cere protocols, potentially starting from Cere’s own world.
About Cere Network
